Your wife is lucky - however most guys don't give a rats rear end about their wives feelings - only their own selfish needs and wants. Their attitude is pretty much "screw that junk make me dinner and make sure the house is clean - flowers - that's a waste of money I can use for beer or tools or fixing up my motorcycle." Let's just face it - in the real world - marriage is just a partenership for paying the rent and utilities and all they ever do is hurt you anyways and lie to you about everything. Am I mistaking or are you all from the US? But i do think there is something crooked in the way men (and women) think. Here in Europe it would be more plausible to say do your "share" of the household chores.(like 50% when both of you are working). It's not so much as "helping" her out, it's more like doing your part as an adult, she's not your mother and doing household chores is not doing her a favour, it is more like helping yourself out. (same goes for taking care of the children, the man is not just an occasional babysitter, he's the father so of course he takes care of his children he's not helping his wife out..).
