For some reason, women like to cuddle. They love to snuggle up on the couch and share a blanket. My wife seems to always need a touch or to be close to me when I am sitting on the couch. I don’t mind it, but sometimes it gets warm or somewhat annoying.
I feel bad when I don’t feel like cuddling sometimes. I enjoy my space and like to relax after work. I realize that this is one of her needs though. I tend to be a warm blooded person who gets really hot extremely fast.
If women need to be close and cuddle, men need to just do it. Make an effort to always make your wife happy. It may drive you nuts, but push through and meet that need. I am sure your wife or girlfriend goes out of her comfort zone to do things for you. Return the favor. Here are a few tips to help you along the way:
My wife hates ironing clothes. It turns out that I hate ironing and I do a bad job. It makes me feel extremely loved if she does it for me. This makes my ability to cuddle a little easier because she blesses me with ironing. Marriage is all about blessing each other and making your love grow stronger.

I’m addicted to cuddling with my significant other, luckily she likes it as well! Good post . . .
Or, women like to cuddle because it provides a feeling of safety and men hate to cuddle because they are less emotional and needy than women. But, recent studies suggest that men are just as sensitive to these sexual behaviors as women.
I love cuddling. I even cuddle some of my male friends, I’m not even bothered about some of the strange looks I have received.
The best thing from my point of view is Tango, I get to cuddle ladies all night.
I enjoyed cuddling my ex whilst she washed up (she enjoyed that), cuddling outside is great (no temperature issues either). The fact that most women like it hotter is well made and annoying I would like to be able to cuddle in bed but have always found the heat unbearable.
Regarding women’s emotional need for us I am very happy about it.
I’m know that cuddling is not about sex (it certainly isn’t when I cuddle men), it’s usually about closeness, affection, acceptance and communication (emotional).
I admit that when that myriad of attractions is present it can cascade into more sexual caress and rapidly increasing libido to a point of libidinous.
The vast majority of the time cuddles stay as cuddles and just because sometimes cuddling can lead to coitus does make synonymous.
My girlfirend likes cuddling too. and of course, there’s always her favourite blanket near… You’re right M. People in marriage have to bless each other. Maybe I’m too young, but sometimes I can’t do a favour for my girl. And I wish I can…

Im actually a guy who doesn’t mind cuddling ,but then again maybe its because none of the girls ive been with have ever actually lived at my place so i wouldnt have to do it constantly

This works both ways. There are some women who don’t like to cuddle. It is all about compromise and respecting each others wants and needs.
My girlfriend loves to cuddle. If I’m watching TV or sleeping she’ll sneak up right with me. Guys, follow this advice. Do whatever it takes to make her happy. Even if you don’t want to. Being in love with someone means you make her feel like she’s the only girl in the world. Watch that chick flick she wants to see, Or buy her some roses and take her out for a night. Tell her she’s beautiful every day. Even if you don’t get something back, its the worth it just to see the woman you love happy.
I’m a girl. I get hot & suffocated very easily so I don’t usually like to cuddle. But my boyfriend LOOOOOVES to snuggle all the time. We compromise and only snuggle 2-3 times a week (as opposed to everyday). And I make sure to turn the A/C up. But I just cannot do it as an everyday thing. It would get too annoying for me.
I agree with ‘What Women Want’ that it depends on the person. Some guys love cuddling and some girls hate it.
But my guy does stuff for me (like cooking because I hate cooking and I’m not good at it). And mowing the lawn, repairing my car, etc. So I return the favor and give him cuddle time atleast twice a week. I also do the chores that he absolutely hates (like buying groceries & cleaning the bathroom).
So it all works out. You have to balance giving and taking.
I really love to cuddle my wife. We always love to touch each other when we are together and I’m loving it. She’s soo loving and caring. Her cuddling and sweet kisses makes me feel like heaven.

I am pregnant with my second child. Only about 10 weeks along. The past 3 nights I have been up late crying because my husband doesn’t seem to want to cuddle or touch me. I try to nicely suggest that maybe we could cuddle before we fall asleep. Everytime I bring up the subject it seems to aggrevate my husband. Last week I even went to the salon and cut off 13 inches of my hair hoping that maybe he just needed something new about me to spark some romance. Our almost 2 year has been sleeping in the bed with me for the past month, because my husband always falls aleep on the couch and is impossible to move. Althought the last 5 nights I have gotten my baby back into his own room, hoping that my husband and I could our intamacy back. It just doesn’t seem to be working. Everytime I bring up that this is a problem to me, it just starts an argument. HELP! What can I do to make my husband want to cuddle and love me. He shows love many other ways, and says it plenty, helps around the house, a great father, but I NEED to be cuddled. It’s like a sense of security, I guess. Any suggestions?
